Responsibilities:
1. Buyer Support Purchasing:
  • Support and administer supplier requests for quotes and purchase orders.
  • Assist the product manager with purchase suggestion activities.
  • Conduct other ad hoc activities related to supplier quotes and purchase orders.
  • Regularly meet with the Product Manager/Quality Manager to review progress and address questions, risks, and issues.
2. Supplier Maintenance:
  • Maintain supplier information in MS Exchange supplier contacts, Epicor, and supplier price list folders and documents.
3. Supplier Administration:
  • Review and follow up on overdue POs with suppliers.
  • Communicate with buyers and managers regarding updates to due dates on POs, including delays and reasons.
4. Supplier Price List Maintenance:
  • Maintain supplier price lists, including data cleansing, transformation, matching, and loading from Excel into Epicor.
  • Cross-reference supplier parts, supplier buy-sell policies, and maintain customer/retail pricing.
5. Supplier Request for Quote:
  • Perform Supplier Request for Quotes, including reviewing supplier pricing, lead times, and quality, as well as supplier negotiation.
6. Inventory Action:
  • Perform part maintenance and ad hoc tasks.
  • Process nonconformance, inspections, and transfer orders.
  • Calculate landed costs.
7. Magento Online System Administration:
  • Administer and maintain the Magento system, an online product management system used by internal sales teams and customers.
Logistics Support:
  • Administer the logistic function for export/import, including coordinating with freight forwarders, suppliers, and booking freight.
  • Track shipments, calculate landed costs, and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders.
Attributes/Competencies:
  1. High attention to detail with a low error rate.
  2. Excellent administration skills, including electronic filing and document management.
  3. Proficient in English (C2 Level).
  4. Able to follow instructions, ask questions, and complete tasks.
  5. Intermediate level proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
  6. Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, sales support, logistics, or similar administration roles.
  7. Bacheloru0027s degree in business administration preferred.
  8. Experience with Windows-based ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor, MS Dynamics).
  9. Experience with heavy machinery and/or replacement spare parts preferred.
