Salary: $8001000/month

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Analyst with a strong accounting background and a background in the jewelry mining or manufacturing industry to join our team.

As a Financial Analyst specializing in the jewelry sector you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data identifying trends and providing strategic insights to drive business growth and profitability.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Analyze financial data related to sales costs pricing margins and inventory within the jewelry industry to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts to support decisionmaking processes and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Create and maintain detailed cost structure models
  • Provide detailed reporting on the diamonds and jewelry as they flow through the value chain.
  • Develop and maintain financial models tying the diamond manufacturing process to final jewelry items.
  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to the jewelry industry such as inventory turnover gross margin and sales by product category.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for financial discrepancies to support management in making informed business decisions.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including diamond cutting and polishing (manufacturing) cost structures sales marketing and operations to provide financial insights and recommendations for optimizing business performance.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes including revenue projections expense planning and cash flow analysis.
  • Prepare financial reports presentations and adhoc analyses for senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends market dynamics and competitive landscape within the jewelry sector to provide valuable insights and recommendations.


Requirements:
  • Has at least 2 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst in the jewelry industry or related field.
  • Has proficiency in financial modeling Excel and other financial software/tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. A Master's degree or
  • professional certification (e.g. CFA CPA) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles accounting standards and financial
  • analysis techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively
  • communicate financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of jewelry industry trends market dynamics and key performance metrics is highly desirable.
