Grade: Senior Associate/Manager

Experience Level: Minimum 7 - 16 years of Experience.

Job Description:

Job Summary: This position is for a major Life Science account and the role is for SAP SD Consultant needing to primarily support Japan region and extending secondary support to other APAC countries. As part of this role the Consultant will be engaged both in Support and Enhancement related work. Consultant will have excellent opportunity to discuss with various business stake holders and learn/gain the Order to Cash customization processes of all the APAC countries. Also, the Consultant will get the opportunity to work with Nearshore/Offshore resources and groom them. Also, this Account and Customer emphases a lot on Automation / Continues Service Improvements which will be an exciting opportunity for the Consultant contributions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Japan Customers to address issues impacting daily business operations.
  • Contribution in SAP SD area to solving tickets within contractual KPIs.
  • Work closely with Japan Customers to requirement discussions and take care of end-to-end support on the enhancement implementations.
  • Document the Knowledge acquired and share the Application knowledge with larger teams.
  • Join production issue calls & support on resolution including but not limited to Trouble shooting complex production issues.
  • Proactively find & implement improvement opportunities - improvements implemented this shall be a KPI.
  • Work collaboratively with teams located in a different geography and deliver the project needs.
  • Adhere to AMS/AVM processes.
  • Adhere to SLAs & KPIs.
  • Prepare/Present status reports as needed.
Essential Skills:
  • SAP SD consultant with Strong working experience in all the major Sales and Distribution areas (Master Data/Orders/Deliveries/Pricing/Billing/Credit Management/IDOC Interfaces/FICO & MM Integration)
  • Good Knowledge in other SAP functional areas – Finance, ABAP debugging will be added advantage.
  • Good working experience in onsite-offshore model.
  • Good working experience in Support and Enhancement Projects.
  • Strong Japanese and English communication skills.
Mandatory/Must have skills:
SAP SD with Japanese language.

Good to have skills:
  • Other Language skills (Chinese)
  • SAP HANA Certified in SD
  • Domain experience in Sales background
