Responsibilities

• Design, create and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines from data sources of

varying nature (streaming, batch processing, etc.) to identified data storage targets.

• Work in close relationship with data science teams and with business (data) analysts in

refining their data requirements for various data and analytics and their data

requirements.

• Documenta on of data lake, data warehouse, and database management procedures,

standards, policies, guidelines, and changes to record and reference for all database

management and changes.

• Develops and maintains data processing systems for preparing structured and

unstructured data for analytics modeling.

• Support, administer and maintain existing data lake and data warehouse Projects.

• Troubleshoot and resolve data lake, data warehouse, and database-related issues to

ensure systems are working as designed and expected.

Qualifications:

  • 12-15 years relevant experience in Data Engineering/Architecture
  • Strong background in AWS Technologies
  • Excellent SQL scripting skills and knowledge about MS SQL Server including SSIS. 
  • Experience in Data Modelling, Design and Implementation
  • Experience with Containerization technologies
  • Experience with Big Data Technologies (ex. Apache, Spark, Hadoop, data lakes)
  • AWS Certification
