Responsibilities

  • Owns/manages projects of various sizes from initiation to closure, for companies within the Stagwell Group portfolio
  • Collaborates with key project stakeholders to determine project requirements and scope
  • Collects data from project resources on level of effort; develops project cost estimates
  • Drafts/maintains project documentation (SOW/charter, solution requirements document, project plan, communications plan, risk register)
  • Oversees all project work to completion; manages scope and provides regular project updates to IT leadership and other project stakeholders
  • Hosts/leads regular project meetings; drafts/circulates meeting agenda and detailed meeting notes
  • Completes project-related administrative work as required (ex. vendor coordination, client billing)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years' experience managing technical projects
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate technical discussions and grasp technical concepts, without in-depth knowledge of technologies
  • Familiarity/experience with both agile/waterfall project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of common project management platforms (MS Project, Trello, MS Planner, Jira, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiation and facilitation/meeting management skills
  • Project management, system implementation and system integration experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work creatively in problem solving environment.
  • Ability to balance technical skills with business savvy – ability to transform end-user needs into technical and functional requirements.
  • Excellent customer service skills: ability to form relationships both externally and internally.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office packages and Microsoft.
