The Inventory Analyst is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's inventory levels to ensure efficient operations, timely order fulfillment, and cost-effectiveness. The role involves analyzing inventory data, forecasting demand, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory turnover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular analysis of inventory levels, sales trends, and product demand.
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete items and recommend actions to mitigate their impact.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather information for accurate demand forecasting.
  • Utilize historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors to predict future demand.
  • Determine optimal reorder points and quantities 
  • Track and manage incoming shipments to avoid delays and stockouts.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports to management on key inventory metrics, such as turnover rates, stock levels, and fill rates
  • Identify opportunities to enhance inventory management processes and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and reduce costs.
  • Implement and maintain accurate tracking systems for inventory movements.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as finance, logistics, and sales, to align inventory strategies with overall business goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree any degree
  • Proven experience in inventory management or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
