Logistics and Warehouse Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Tasks/Responsibilities of the position are as follows:
- Monitors the status of central warehouse, facilities, and equipment including site warehouses in order to make recommendations for improvement
- Verifies report of Warehouse Supervisor on violations and non-compliance of suppliers and prepare monthly reports-corrective actions to be cascaded to concerned procurement department.
- Supports logistics team/customer service in negotiating with forwarders and soliciting quotations including follow-ups and providing location status of the shipment
- Assists logistics team in handling after service issues (claims, complaints)
- Prepares internal memo on warehouse guidelines and incident reports for submission to Logistics and Warehouse Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related course; Graduate of Supply Chain Management is an advantage
- Minimum 3-5 years work experience in logistics, warehousing or related field
- Open to travel to conduct project site visits, as required
- Willing to be assigned in Echague, Quiapo
