RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Month end Closing: ensure that all monthly required accounting entries are passed into the accounting system.
  • Assist Accounting and Finance Manager in performing GL reconciliations for Balance Sheet Accounts on a timely basic
  • Provide support to Finance Manager in areas of statutory compliance and internal/external reporting
  • Support the Senior Accountant on completing the quarterly GST returns
  • Implement improvements to the month end procedures and internal controls
  • Assist the Finance and Accounting Manager on ad-hoc projects

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree/Diploma in Accountancy or Finance equivalent
  • Required SFRS Experience
  • Strong Technical knowledge in Singapore/International Accounting Standards
  • Experience in G/L activities with 5 years of experience
  • Experienced in the Month end Closing process
  • Attention to details
  • Strong organization skills and task closure abilities
  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
