Job Description :

JPMorgan delivers an extensive solution for different Fund Managers seeking independent administration and custody services as well as outsourcing of their day-to-day operations.

TheBank Loans team has the responsibility for providing a premium quality client service to Fund Services clients, ensuring deadlines are met at all times.

As a Fund Servicing Analyst in Bank Loans you will oversee the day to day operation of a fund or funds within Bank Loans, including trade booking, settlement, cash & positions and market value reconciliations, break research and resolution, credit facilities life cycle management and client issue management.

Job responsibilities:

  • Assistant to the Group manager (Officer). Escalation point in the absence of the group manager.
  • Work with the AVP/Officer to develop goals and ensure they are reached
  • Part reviewer part processor
  • Review daily/monthly work process with AVP/Officer and ensure daily and monthly checklists are signed off and done properly
  • Ensuring that all staff are aware of daily tasks and deadlines and that they are met
  • Streamline processes where applicable
  • Effectively communicating instructions from AVP / Officer to more junior staff
  • Timely escalation of any potential issues to Officer / AVP
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the funds that they are working on.
  • Full knowledge of all asset types within the funds.
  • Responsible for highlighting areas of weakness / risk in the team.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance orrelated field
  • Experience with trade processing, reconciliation & implementing process improvement methodology and/or demonstrated experience with efficiency improvement
  • Ability to interface with management & with good communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to think analytically, logically and proactively identify issues and implement solutions
  • Strong organisational skills, concern for quality & accuracy and working to strict deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation
  • Leverage your unique background, experiences and skills to help innovate and add value.
  • A willingness to work hard and go beyond expectations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Working knowledge of financial data providers such as Bloomberg, Financial Times Interactive Data, MarkIt Partners is preferred
