Position Summary

As a Junior Video Editor, you will specialize in editing and producing high-quality, engaging video content tailored for social media channels, with a strong focus on TikTok. Your role will involve working closely with our content team to conceptualize and execute creative ideas that align with our brand's vision, leveraging the latest AI software like Runway to enhance production quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging, dynamic video content specifically designed for TikTok, as well as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
  • Use AI video editing tools like Runway to incorporate innovative effects, transitions, and automation into video content.
  • Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and develop viral video concepts that resonate with our target audience.
  • Ensure all videos are on-brand and optimized for platform-specific requirements and audience engagement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in social media video production, especially on TikTok, to keep our content fresh and relevant.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality and creativity under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns, particularly on TikTok.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects) and familiarity with AI video editing tools like Runway.
  • A deep understanding of social media platforms, especially TikTok, including best practices, trends, and content optimization strategies.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to produce captivating video content that stands out in a fast-paced social media landscape.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • A passion for storytelling through video and a commitment to continuous learning and innovation in the field of digital content creation.
