Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Specialist with expertise in cloud platforms to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering and troubleshooting tasks related to L3 Switches, Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) including F5, Palo Alto, and Fortinet, as well as other cloud infrastructure components. The candidate must possess a solid understanding of networking principles and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and troubleshoot L3 Switches and Next-Generation Firewalls (F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet) to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Configure and maintain load balancing solutions to distribute network traffic efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize network infrastructure.
  • Provide Level 3 support for network-related issues and incidents.
  • Conduct periodic security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Implement and manage SSL certificate renewals for secure communication channels.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of AWS cloud networking solutions.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and networking protocols.
  • Adhere to ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management.

Requirements:

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 1-5 years of hands-on experience in administering and troubleshooting L3 Switches and Next-Generation Firewalls (F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
  • Proficiency in load balancing technologies and methodologies.
  • Cisco training or certification (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts such as VLANs, VPNs, routing, and subnetting.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL practices and methodologies.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with router configuration and management.
  • Familiarity with SSL certificate management and renewal processes.
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud networking services and solutions.
  • Additional certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python for automation tasks.
