Data Platform Support Team Manager
Manage a support team for the data platform, ensuring timely resolution of requests, incidents, and problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, and Business Groups, to deliver successful project outcomes. Develop and maintain data platforms, including Operational Data Store (ODS) and Analytical Data Store (ADS). Key Responsibilities:
• Manage support team for data platform requests, incidents, and problems
• Send planned downtime communications to stakeholders
• Report critical incidents and updates to Head of Data Platform
• Gather and analyze data requirements from applications and business groups
• Identify fields in the data platform to address data requirements
• Understand business processes and information/data flow
• Liaise with other teams to execute project activities
• Provide input on conceptual/logical data models and data source mapping
• Work with developers to ensure accurate data transformation and consolidation
• Conduct internal testing and provide input on test plans
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and provide business support
• Facilitate successful deployment process
Minimum Job Requirements:
• College/University degree
• Proven experience in application support and project implementation
• In-depth technical knowledge of application services and modern technologies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
• Understanding of Project Management and Software Development Life Cycle
• Background in business analysis, data analysis, and/or project management
• Experience working with diverse data sources and applications
