CNC Drafter

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. The Drafter will be responsible for creating and optimizing CAD designs and CAM programs for CNC machining processes. This role requires proficiency in CAD/CAM software and understanding of CNC machining techniques.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize CAD designs and CAM programs for CNC machining.Utilize CAD/CAM software to create detailed technical drawings and tool paths.Collaborate with engineers and machinists to understand project specifications and requirements.Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to produce accurate designs.Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and manufacturing requirements.Modify and update existing designs and programs to reflect changes in project specifications.Perform quality checks on CAD/CAM outputs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.RequirementsSkills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.At least 3+ years of experience as a drafter, CAD/CAM Operator or similar role.Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, with experience in Mastercam highly advantageous.Understanding of CNC machining processes and techniques.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design and programming.Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.Strong organizational and time management skills.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of industry standards and manufacturing requirements.Additional Job Details:
