We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Compliance Officer to join Ticketek Philippines.

The Financial Compliance Officer, Philippines is responsible for ensuring the companies practices are compliant with the relevant law's regulations, licensing, and taxation requirements in addition to overseeing the company's internal controls to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results to key internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role

Leadership

Develop financial measures and initiate or review Standard Operating Process (SOP) for all critical business operations through use of targeted goals & KPI's and coaching & mentoring. Consider & recommend financial internal controls that drive optimum efficiency.Oversee finance measures and ensure they are in control.Financial Compliance and Internal Control Recommend ongoing compliance control initiatives through monthly management account analysis.Conduct a comprehensive audit of financial systems and structures in the company for improvements to be reported to management.Research new regulations and policies and analyse the changes in the regulations and their impact on Ticketworld Philippines and provide advice regarding the most tax effective course of action.Perform risk assessments to recognise areas where the company might be vulnerable to non-compliance.Work with other departments in the company, such as the legal, IT, marketing, customer service and finance departments, to ensure compliance of all departments. Leverage the use of systems to simplify processes and minimise the need for manual work data entry and work arounds.Oversee local compliance with respective tax authorities, ensuring all tax obligations are prepared, reviewed, and submitted within tax authority timelines.Manage prevention and recover fraud in relation to online ticket purchases and manage disputed credit card transactions investigations.Risk ManagementSupport various control and financial audits.Industry & CompetitionKeep abreast of relevant domestic & international developments as they relate to:Live Entertainment Ticketing and related servicesCompetitorsCompliance and Corporate GovernanceEnsure compliance with all regulatory authorities. Liaise with external company secretarial agencies, auditors, lawyers, tax advisers and financial institutions as required to ensure all regulatory obligations are met.Ensure compliance in areas including Trade Practices, Privacy, Occupational Health & Safety are adhered to.Ensure standards of corporate governance and business ethics are maintained.Compliance and Stakeholder management, ensure TEG Finance processes are followed and systems exist to audit and report against these processes to ensure ongoing compliance.As a financial compliance expert, ensure the company meets the demands of the regulatory bodies such as handling tax cases with regulators until its conclusion and resolution.General SupportTrain employees on company regulations, new policies, and implementation strategies.About YouCA / CPA qualified or Relevant professional certifications like Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) combined with a Degree in Finance. Minimum of 5 years' experience post qualification.Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments and requirements in Philippines.Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.Ability to embrace and drive change within the business.Prior experience working with large ERP systems such as SAP/Oracle desirable but not essential.About TEG
