Inspects and tests malfunctioning medical or related equipment, following manufacturer's specifications and using test and analysis instrumentsTests or calibrates components or equipment following manufacturer's manuals and troubleshooting techniquePerforms troubleshooting of cardio-pulmonary equipment and other medical equipment and machines Performs preventive maintenance of cardio-pulmonary equipment and other medical equipment and machinesTests, evaluates and classifies excess or in-use medical equipment and determine service ability, condition and disposition, in accordance with regulationsKeeps records of maintenance, repair and required updates of equipmentConducts trainings to end users of medical equipmentInteracts with healthcare providers and offer technical support for equipment usage REQUIREMENTS Graduate of Electronics, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering or Electronics Technology, or new graduate with related training obtained during OJTAt least 1 year work experience in the same or related field. Experience working in multidisciplinary teams with other professionals including doctors, respiratory therapists and nurses, a plus factorWith good organizational and planning skillsGood at design, analysis and problem solvingStrong math, science and technology skillsCustomer oriented and with good interpersonal skillsAble to function effectively and efficiently in emergencies
