Curriculum Editor

The Curriculum Editor plays a vital role in creating exceptional online content that aligns with StrongMind's vision for excellence in the online educational space. This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with curriculum development teams to ensure the quality and cohesion of assigned courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit assigned materials for mechanical errors, language, content, and components, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and adhere to the StrongMind Style Manual.
  • Identify and report possible copyright infringements and/or plagiarism.
  • Review and edit citations of sources and third-party materials.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external resources.
  • Review and eliminate bias in educational content, ensuring fairness and inclusivity.

Requirements:

  • Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal forms.
  • Maintain professionalism with internal and external staff.
  • Uphold a professional code of conduct, acknowledging and accepting direction from company leadership.
  • Demonstrate willingness to work collaboratively, independently, and under pressure.
  • Analyze data analytically, showcasing excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Commit to professional and personal growth in a culturally diverse environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Hold a certificate, bachelor's, or graduate degree in English, Journalism, or Communication.
  • Have at least three years of experience in editing.
