Location: Rosario Avenue, Rosario Complex, San Pedro City, Laguna (Near Southwoods City)

Salary: 600.00/day plus service charge and tips

Experience Required: At least 5 years of experience as a cook in a casual dining or similar restaurants.

Position Overview:

The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. You will work closely with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth operation, adhere to health and safety regulations, and contribute to a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities:

Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to our menu and recipe specifications.

Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature, seasoning, and presentation standards.

Manage ingredients and supplies effectively, including proper storage and rotation to minimize waste.

Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.

Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.

Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role in a busy kitchen environment/casual dining

Knowledge: Familiarity with various cooking techniques, ingredients, and equipment. Knows how to follow the standard from the main kitchen.

Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Safety: Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in food handling.

Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Certification: Food Handler's Certificate or equivalent certification preferred.
