SUMMARY:


A Legal Clerk plays a vital role in supporting legal professionals by performing various administrative tasks and assisting with legal proceedings.

They handle clerical duties such as filing documents, drafting correspondence, organizing case files, and conducting legal research under the supervision of attorneys or paralegals.

The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of legal procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, including case documents, correspondence, and legal research materials.
Assist in drafting and editing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and contracts.

Prepare and file legal documents with courts, government agencies, and other parties as in scheduling appointments, hearings, and meetings for attorneys and clients.

Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties to gather information and relay messages.
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and distributing mail.

QUALIFICATION:
Must be a graduate of any 4 year courseMust be computer literateProfessional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and procedures.
