About the Role:

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Tester to join our Digital Service Operations team. As a Salesforce Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leadership and scrum teams to develop and improve quality best practices aligned with organizational goals.
• Own the overall QA process for the product team, ensuring processes and best practices are documented and followed.
• Assess factors such as risk, value, efficiency, and quality of development and report back to leadership and stakeholders.
• Create, organize, and implement test strategies for applications and large projects, including integration, migration, regression, smoke testing, and proper documentation sign-off.
• Troubleshoot and perform detailed risk analysis to accurately relay concerns and information to all involved parties.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or 3-5 years of equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Salesforce Platform, including deep understanding of Salesforce functionalities.
• Experience with Salesforce Testing, including hands-on experience in testing Salesforce applications.
• Understanding of Salesforce Architecture, including objects, fields, record types, and workflows.
• Test Automation Skills, including proficiency in automated testing tools specific to Salesforce.
• SOQL and SOSL Knowledge, including basic understanding of Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL).

Testing Competencies:

• Test Plan Development, including ability to develop comprehensive test plans.
• Test Case Creation, including expertise in creating detailed test cases and test scripts.
• Defect Tracking and Reporting, including experience in defect tracking and using tools like JIRA or similar.
• Quality Assurance Best Practices, including comprehensive understanding of QA methodologies and best practices in a Salesforce environment.
• Performance Testing Experience, including knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.

Competencies:

• Demonstrated expertise in overseeing manual and automated testing activities within multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in leveraging test taxonomies to optimize testing effectiveness and coverage.
• Adeptness in comprehending test data strategies and adapting them across various systems and technological frameworks.
• Established history of delivering premium-quality solutions within set timelines.
• Advanced skills in oral and written communication, coupled with ability to engage effectively with varied audiences.
• Robust methodical capabilities, coupled with strong problem identification and resolution skills.
• Highly motivated individual with diplomacy, good work ethic, and intellectual agility.
• Solid foundation in implementing Agile methodologies throughout development cycles.
• Proactively identifies workflow inefficiencies and devises and executes improvement plans.
