Job Summary: Maintenance Manager oversees equipment operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Job Description:
- Ensures all equipment are running with zero downtime, evaluating each to improve operating costs and prolong lifespan.
- Leads day-to-day activities of Maintenance Technicians and Refrigeration Specialists to perform necessary maintenance functions.
- Reviews and develops maintenance procedures for refrigeration equipment and support facilities, ensuring compliance with safety requirements.
- Supervises preventive maintenance activities, procures parts and services, and establishes connections with suppliers.
- Maintains calibration of temperature gauges and instruments, and keeps calibration certificates for audit purposes.
- Generates weekly and monthly reports on accomplishments and updates pending activities for review by the Engineering & Maintenance Manager.
- Ensures government compliance with equipment operation and yearly testing requirements.
- Assists the Electrical Engineer with mechanical work and performs other maintenance duties as required.
- Works closely with the Property Management Officer and leads and mentors Maintenance Technicians.
- Maintains and prepares maintenance checklist schedules and supervises daily checklists.
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering, licensed Mechanical Engineer preferred.
- At least 8-10 years of work experience in Facilities and Equipment Maintenance.
- Technical credibility, including knowledge of design, construction, project management, and building & maintenance management systems.
- Good problem-solving skills, administrative credibility, and stress tolerance.
- Adaptability, open to new ideas and approaches, and ability to work in a shifting schedule.
- Good team player, leader, and motivator.
