IT Staff

IT Staff is responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. He/she will supervise the implementation and maintenance of the company's computing needs.

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for consulting with other department heads as required.
2. Provide IT assistance to staff and customers.
3. Resolving logged errors in a timely manner.
4. Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics.
5. Updating computer software as well as upgrading hardware and systems.
6. Maintaining databases and ensuring system security.
7. Documenting processes and performing diagnostic tests.
8. Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.
9. Manage information technology and computer systems
10. Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
11. Manage IT by recruiting, training and coaching employees, on hardware functionality and software programs.
12. Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures for the department.
13. Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
14. Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
15. Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
16. Preserve assets, information security and control structures
17. Monitor performance of Information Technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
18. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
