Graduate of medical related course

• Must have at least 6 months experience in a clinic or hospital setting

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Receives patients and informs them of the procedure for their endoscopic examinations.

• Application of local anesthetic/topical decongestant.

• Assists ENT Doctor in basic ENT examinations.

• Performs/Assists ENT in doing the following procedures: Measures the degree of nasal obstruction via acoustic rhinomanometry, evaluate the quality of voice pitch, timbre and irregularities via videostroboscopy, visualization of the ear, nose and throat via Otoscopy, rhinopharyngoscopy and laryngoscopy, hearing evaluation via puretone audtiometry, speech audtiometry, tympanometry, audiometry brainstem response and auditory steady-state response, and VEMP and VNG procedures for the determination of hearing and balance.

• Responsible for proper safe handling and storage of the endoscopy unit, rhinomanometer and accessories.

• Washes all materials used and help in maintaining orderliness of the section
