Job Summary
The position is responsible for researching, writing, and editing articles that cover various topics, including but not limited to automotive subjects, industry trends, and lifestyle features.
Key Responsibilities
Research, write, and edit articles for Top Gear Philippines across various channels or platforms.Participate in video segments, reviews, or promotional content as needed.Conduct interviews with industry or subject matter experts and attend events as required.Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm and develop story ideas, contribute to editorial meetings, and adhere to deadlines.Ensure all content is optimized for digital platforms, including SEO best practices, engaging headlines, and multimedia elements.Verify the accuracy of information and ensure that all content meets our editorial standards and guidelines.Interact with readers through social media, comments, and other channels to foster a strong connection with our audience.Other duties not enumerated, but are essential to the operations of the company. Education, Experience and Other QualificationsMinimum of 1 year of professional writing experience, preferably in the automotive industry or a related field.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong research and analytical abilities.Deep understanding of automotive technology, industry trends, and car culture. Familiarity with SEO and digital content strategies.Comfortable with appearing on camera and presenting content in a professional and engaging manner.Genuine enthusiasm for cars and the automotive industry, with the ability to convey that passion through both written and visual content.Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and content needs.-
