Job Description

  • Develop and implement the data strategy and analytics roadmap for the company, aligning with the business goals and priorities
  • Responsible to designing and delivering data visualizations and dashboards, using various tools and platforms, to allow all SEE company functions to communicate complex data findings and stories to different audiences, perform advanced data analysis and modeling, using statistical and machine learning techniques, and generate actionable insights and recommendations
  • Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, data platform experts, and data visualization experts
  • Establish and enforce data quality and governance policies and protocols
  • Foster a data driven culture and mindset within the organization, promoting data literacy and best practices
  • Design and oversee the data architecture, data pipelines, data warehouses, and data platforms of the company
  • Identify and evaluate new data sources, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the data capabilities and value of the company
  • Develop and implement data driven solutions, such as dashboards, reports, models, and algorithms, to address business challenges and improve performance.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with cross functional teams, such as product, engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and integration of data driven insights into daily business
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of data and solutions, and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Responsible for Global Master Data Management including the governance over the creation, maintenance, and cleansing of master data and other critical business data sources for optimal analytics and reporting
  • Work with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of the master data
  • Design and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures to support the master data lifecycle
Qualifications

  • University educated (BA/BS)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and compelling narratives.
Strong verbal and written communications

  • Ability to analyze large volumes of information and define "the big picture"
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Experience in working with internal and external, local and global team members to deliver results
  • Can work effectively with remote teams across multiple time zones
  • Expertise in data management, data quality, data governance, and data security
  • Experience in working with various data sources, platforms, and tools, such as relational databases, SQL databases, cloud services, APIs, BI tools, and data visualization tools
  • Strong knowledge of statistical and machine learning methods such as regression, classification, clustering, anomaly detection, natural language processing etc
  • Strong leadership, collaboration and problem solving skills, with the ability to drive data initiatives and projects from inception to completion
  • Passion for data and innovation, with a curiosity and eagerness to learn and explore new data opportunities and challenges
  • Proficient in data quality tools and techniques, such as data profiling, cleansing, matching, deduplication, standardization and enrichment.
  • Experience with master data management platforms and applications, such as SAP MDG or similar
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and data migration concepts and methodologies
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and results driven, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced and dynamic environment
