Manages gallery operations and sales reportsCommunicates with user groups and consignment artistsMaintains yearly schedule of visual arts exhibitsInstalls artworks and art exhibitsAssists with the planning and development of fundraising events for the galleryMaintains database records for gallery such as inventories and other related recordsSends out press releases and mailings for gallery eventsPlans, monitors and prepares budget reports for gallery activities and eventsResearches merchandising needs for the galleryWrites artist contracts for gallery & other projects including installations, exhibits, and rentalsProduces brochures and marketing materials for the galleryPerforms all work duties and activities in accordance with policies and proceduresBachelor's Degree in Art History, Art Management or related fieldA minimum of three (3) years experience in gallery operations and public art programsAny equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
