We are looking for teachers who are interested to be a part of our team of tutors. You will be teaching English to Japanese and/or Taiwanese students from kids to adults. A majority of our students are working professionals.

You will have the freedom to choose your own schedules as long as you can include these certain requirements:

Must be able to open classes at least 5 hours on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)Can also teach or open classes on weekdaysMay open between 5 AM to 12 AMNo specific time is required but currently, classes within these times (8 AM to 8 PM) are preferred (peak hours)Free ESL training with **Signing bonus and Newbies' bonus (**Once you graduate from training). Qualifications:Have a good command of the English language or be able to communicate in English.Know how to use Skype.Be willing to be trained.Must be willing to register as a freelancer with the BIR and get a COR. The following are a plus, but they are not required:Background in ESLTESOL CertificateKnowledge in Japanese/ Chinese language Requirements:Stable internet connectionMinimum upload speed of 5 MBPSMinimum download speed of 5 MBPSUnlimited post-paid internet; connection via WIFI or LAN cable is fine (internet must be private connection and can have access to the router) We cannot accept pocket WIFI or mobile tethering (Pre-paid internet is not allowed)Your own Desktop/Laptop (Windows are ideal. You may use Mac, but you must invest in your own Skype call recorder) at least 8GB RAMWebcam (Built-in or external is fine)Headset with a stick-type microphoneQuiet and private roomBedroom, Study Room, and Private Office are okayCommon areas like the Living room and Dining area are not allowedNoted: All of the system requirements must be personally owned.

During the interview, we will check your RDO (Revenue District Office/BIR branch), and applicants who will pass will need to update their RDO (in case their TIN isn't registered in the RDO based on their residence). The update is a prerequisite to join the training. If you don't have a TIN yet, please disregard this.

Salary: Our base rate is PHP 55/lesson (a lesson is good for 25 minutes) In an hour, you can earn PHP 110 but this can also increase through the following incentives if you can meet the standard set by the company:

Japanese speaker incentivePerformance incentive - may go up every 3 months depending on the tutor's performance Training Schedule and Details:Training will be done online via Skype. Our training program includes both asynchronous and synchronous training. Asynchronous training: Saturday to Monday.Synchronous training: Tuesday to Thursday (10 AM to 5:10 PM)GOOD NEWS FOR FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES AND STUDENTS UNHOOP PHILS INC is now offering WEEKEND TRAINING.

3-day weekend only training:

Day 1 - Sat : 10AM to 5:10 PM

Day 2 - Sun : 2PM to 9:10 PM

Day 3 - Sat (the following week) 10AM to 5:10 PM

3-day Hands-On Training: will start on the Tue immediately after Day 3 Schedule: 6PM to 9PM.
