Dover Business Services (DBS) is seeking a skilled Federal/State Income Tax Specialist to join their new shared service center in Cebu, Philippines.

Joining an emerging shared services team, the Income Tax Specialist will be responsible for providing timely and high-quality service to internal stakeholders and Dover suppliers, as per service level agreements and key performance indicators.As a Federal/State Income Tax Specialist, you will handle operational processes including data management, analysis, reconciliation, and correspondence tracking. This role offers an exciting chance to gain exposure to various businesses in the manufacturing industry and to develop cross-functional skills in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
Essential Responsibilities:

  • Timely and Quality Service Delivery – Federal/State Income Tax Compliance and Reporting
  • Analyze, review, and interpret data for tax and financial reporting
  • Assist in preparing state and local income tax workpapers and returns
  • Prepare tax estimates and extension calculations
  • Maintain tax payment tracking and reconciliation
  • Support state tax provision calculations
  • Assist with various tax projects and audits
  • Conduct tax research for compliance requirements
  • Coordinate document requests and interactions with internal teams
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and project implementations
  • Coach and train team members on process changes
  • Interact with stakeholders in a professional manner
Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in tax, accounting, or financial analysis
  • Working knowledge of US State and Local Income Tax Compliance
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant tools
  • Experience with ERPs, Financial Systems, and Tax Tools is an advantage
