Job Description and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement content strategies that align with company goals, ensuring content is engaging, relevant, and optimized for target audiences.Oversee all aspects of content production, including proofreading, editing, and ensuring compliance with editorial policies, style, and tone.Supervise writers, manage freelance contributors, and coordinate with the editorial team to ensure seamless content creation and publication.Monitor website performance to achieve site traffic and ad placement targets, and optimize content to enhance user engagement and growth.Plan and manage daily editorial operations, including content schedules, editorial meetings, and publication timelines.Analyze readership data and other performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of content and make data-driven decisions to improve results.Produce and oversee the creation of copy, content, articles, and other editorial services as needed.Work closely with clients to understand their needs, develop marketing plans, and ensure content meets their objectives and expectations.Collaborate with Project Managers, Channels Team, and Creatives Team to brainstorm ideas, guide creative direction, and align content with broader marketing strategies.Gather customer and market insights to inform content strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate qualified leads.Conceptualize and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms.Identify short-term and long-term resource needs, manage budgets, and forecast profit/loss projections for the editorial team.Evaluate individual and team performance, provide constructive feedback, and support ongoing training and development to ensure high standards of output.Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google Bard, and Jasper to streamline content creation and enhance editorial processes.Gather and act on client feedback to continuously improve the editorial team's performance and ensure client satisfaction.Regularly report on project progress, including key stages of conception, creation, and execution to management.Perform other tasks as assigned by management.Qualifications:With a minimum of three (3) years' work experience as a Managing Editor or other relevant roles.Working knowledge of content management systemsFamiliarity with SEO best practices and content optimizationProficiency in WordPress, Mailchimp, ChatGPT, Google Bard, Twitter, Facebook, Grammarly, and other related tools.Knowledge of current industry trends and emerging content marketing techniques.Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite applicationsExceptional attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.Proficient in the English language.How to Apply:
