This initiative will involve close collaboration with local government units (LGUs) at both the municipal and barangay levels, key government agencies, and local service providers. The primary objective of this project is to ensure the delivery of high-quality, age- and gender-responsive services in maternal, newborn, child health, and nutrition (MNCHN), as well as early childhood development (ECD). The project will be implemented in the Municipality of Zumarraga.

In line with this project, we invite competent, experienced, and committed professionals to fill the following position.

The Project Officers will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of the project. This includes community mobilization, coordination with relevant government offices and actors, and building the capacity of project stakeholders, such as adolescents, community members, service providers, and partners.

Further, as the Project Officer:

You will lead the implementation of project activities as outlined in the final project design.You will organize a lesson/s learned workshop to document ongoing challenges, obstacles, and successful practices from the project, to inform future scale-up and replication efforts.You will support the Monitoring and Evaluation Research and Learning Coordinator in the program area, in the submission of high-quality project reports.You will facilitate the project closure and handover workshop with key project stakeholders to secure support and commitment, ensuring the sustainability of the project's achievements.Plan International is a development and humanitarian organization. In exceptional cases, you will be asked to support emergency response activities in the communities in your assigned covered areas.

To be successful in the role you will need among other things:

Degree or Diploma and 2-3 years' relevant professional experience, or demonstrated equivalent combination.Background and experience on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and/or early childhood development (ECD) work.Sound analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to influence others' behavior through effective relationship building.Good command of verbal and written communication skills and the ability to relate to people from all backgrounds.A team player with integrity and transparency; proactive and gender sensitive.Applicants must be based in the Philippines and Filipino nationals.
