Roof Estimator

Seeking an experienced Roof Estimator to analyze and create accurate estimates for roofing, siding, gutters, and interior work, ensuring compliance with Ohio building codes and IRC regulations.

As a Roof Estimator, you will be responsible for:

• Utilizing expert knowledge of Xactimate to analyze and create accurate estimates for roofing, siding, gutters, and interior work.
• Ensuring all work meets Ohio building codes and IRC regulations, identifying and documenting discrepancies between the insurance carrier's scope of work and company requirements.
• Reviewing and comparing insurance carrier scopes of work with internal assessments, identifying missing or incorrect items and providing clear documentation and justifications.
• Communicating with insurance carriers to discuss discrepancies, negotiate supplements, and ensure all necessary work is covered by the insurance settlement.
• Preparing and submitting final invoices, certifications of completion, and other necessary documentation to insurance carriers promptly and accurately.
• Effectively communicating with insurance carriers, clients, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and outcomes.
• Staying updated on industry trends, building code changes, and Xactimate updates to ensure accurate and efficient processes are maintained.
