Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Lease Accounting Analyst to join our Finance Operations team. As a Lease Accounting Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our company's lease accounting processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all activities related to lease accounting, including initial lease assessments, disposals, transfers, and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Support ongoing improvements and automation projects within the accounting team.
• Remain current with industry trends, changes in accounting rulings, and latest technologies to ensure the team is evolving as per industry standards.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Assist in any audit process raised by Legal Entity Controllership.
• Adhere to strong internal controls in place to achieve "adequate" internal and external audit ratings.
• Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities.
• Understand, adhere to, and execute worldwide policies and procedures.
• Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions to remediate/prevent breach.
• Ensure strong internal controls are in place to achieve "adequate" internal and external audit ratings.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor's level degree or equivalent in accounting or finance.
• Fluent English, other language skills desirable.
• 1-2 years of professional experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Be open to new ideas, rapid change, and embracing new technologies.
• Experience in a lease accounting department desirable.
• Be organized and work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
• Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge preferable.
• Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO.
