WHAT IS A SECURITY CONSULTANT (PEN TESTER)
Our awesome client, a Cybersecurity Company company based in Australia is looking for a Security Consultant to be part of their team
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?
The Security Consultant will assist with penetration tests against a client's application and networkassets - both manual and automation testing, to find where vulnerabilities exist.The role will work with a variety of testing tools, to probe an organisation's network - attempting to find any areaswhich are vulnerable to attack and identifying methods by which attackers could exploit security flaws.Working as part of our Cyber Security team, the role will seek out and identify passive threats tonetwork integrity. Using your established testing experience across network, application and mobileenvironments, the role will work closely with customers, with the aim of providing reports on findings, working as the primary technical contact for project delivery WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Minimum 2-3 years' experience in penetration/ethical hackingExperience of mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, red teaming or secure code reviews is highly desirable.Experience of Internal, External and Web application penetration testing.Experience with IT and cybersecurity strategy, policies, standards, procedures and controlsStrong oral and written communication skillsExperience working on projects and with teamsExperience with IT and cybersecurity strategy, policies, standards, procedures and controlsExperience and practical understanding of Information Security Standards & FrameworksStrong oral and written communication skillsExperience working on projects and with teamsExperience and practical understanding of Information Security Standards & FrameworksAt least one of the following certifications are desirable: CREST, OSCP, OSCE, etc. Personal Attributes & Interpersonal Skills Outstanding verbal and written communicationAbility to align Cyber Security objectives with key business goals-
