He / She will evaluate and clarify the vendor accomplished Bill of Quantities to be able to recommend an award.

Job Summary:

Makes Bill of Quantities for Bidding, following the appropriate policy, for approval and keeps hard files or digital archives of approved Bill of Quantities, Answers to Clarifications, Price Quotations, etc. for record keeping and Audit Trail purposesEvaluates Bill of Quantities and prepares information to facilitate vendor clarification and vendor negotiationMaintains and updates price database for use in budgeting and unit rates comparison / benchmarkingRecommends for award vendor's proposal based on cost, completeness and complianceWorks closely with the end-user to craft Bill of Quantities that will be tendered to the vendorsCarry out specific functions in support of the Department's operational plans (Unit Rates Analysis, Materials Cost Database, etc.)Job Requirement:Graduate of B.S.
