Work you'll do

  • Payables management, which includes but is not limited to:
    • Vendor Invoice Processing
    • Reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy
    • Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements including withholding tax, VAT and other applicable taxes
    • Submission of invoices to Global Financial Services (GFS) for coding
    • Payment Processing
    • Preparing and processing timely payment of vendor invoices and other payment requests via bank transfers.
    • Provide list of invoices paid to GFS for clearing.
    • Provide proof of payment to requestors and/or vendors.
    • Monitoring and tracking of all bills to ensure payments are properly posted and monthly statements from vendors are reconciled.
  • Vendor Management
    • Perform vendor maintenance in the ERP system as necessary and liaise with GFS Hypercare vendor team to resolve any issues.
    • Maintain electronic and manual records of all transactions including invoices, payment receipts and relevant correspondences.
    • Prepare monthly electronic and manual billings and official receipts for intercompany transactions.
    • Perform monthly close activities including preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliation and other accounting operations task.
    • Conduct monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
    • Assists in the preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for BIR, PEZA and other statutory requirements.
    • Assists during internal and statutory audits, both in PH and UK accounts
    • Perform administrative and other tasks as needed.

If you are someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant a plus but not required
  • 5-7 years' work experience in finance or related field
  • Must be SAP user
  • Organized and willing to learn at every opportunity
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
  • Analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment.
