Broadcast Monitor

We're a media intelligence company empowering clients to understand their brand and reputation. We're looking for talented people to join us as Broadcast Monitors / Media Writers.

Broadcast Monitors create accurate and concise summaries of assigned broadcast (radio and TV) content each day. Key responsibilities include listening and viewing assigned broadcasts, creating concise summaries within required time thresholds, and ensuring summaries reflect the essence of the broadcast item.

Key Responsibilities:

• Listen and view assigned broadcast content and create concise summaries within required time thresholds.
• Ensure summaries reflect the essence of the broadcast item, capturing any client relevant aspects.
• Ensure relevant detail is included so each summary can be read in isolation.
• Ensure client knowledge on summary requirements is kept up to date.
• Ensure grammatical and style parameters are met in each summary.
• Alert immediate manager to any issues with summary content.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• College Graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, International Studies, or related courses.
• At least 1 year of experience in BPO and the media industry.
• Excellent written English language skills.
• Exceptional English oral communication skills.
• Can recognize and interpret voice and accent across regions.
• A minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
• Can deliver to strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Can adapt to constantly changing work content.
• Full time position, remote work available.
