As Facilities Engineer you are responsible for providing technical support in the plant facilities management, ensuring optimum performance, and preventing downtime of mechanical systems by performing routine inspections and maintenance. Performs regular preventive maintenance of production machines and facilities equipment. Prepares necessary reports related to facilities operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As Health and Safety Officer, you will oversee the implementation of the company's Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Programs, monitor and inspect operations' health and safety aspects, and ensure compliance with OSH legal and other regulatory requirements including securing permits and submitting government-required reports.

Programs and Policies Facilitation
Ensure adherence to requirements and enforcement of company OSH policies.

Implements and monitors general OSH Programs.

Incident Monitoring
Conducts accident investigations & implementation of corrective measures and monitors safe working practices regularly.

Audit and Regulatory Compliance
Ensures adherence to requirements via coordination and legal requirements processing, such as but not limited to:
Health & Safety - Rule 1020, OSH Program, Work accident/illness reports, WAIR, Sanitary Certificate
Environment - ECC, PCO Accreditation, Solid/Hazardous waste management, etc
LGU - Safety Seal, Fire Safety Inspection certificate, DO Rule 1020 (Registration of Establishment) .
Recommends corrective action related to hazardous conditions to the appropriate sources

Training and Ancillary Support
Conducts OSH orientation/training for all site personnel including subcontractors and visitors.
Conducts safety training sessions for all employees on proper safety procedures, including emergency response protocols and the proper use of safety equipment.

Reports Generation and Monitoring
Prepare, update, and submit daily OSH Dashboard and compliance reports
Maintain a comprehensive database or records of all safety concerns and issues.
