As a Data Modeling Analyst, you:

  • You contribute to ING's global efforts in preventing Money Laundering and Financial Crimes.
  • You tackle data challenges and conduct detailed data analysis in a dynamic setting.
  • You cooperate with Business Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Stakeholders to clarify, analyze, comprehend, and enhance their data needs.
  • You develop data models and data mappings based on specified requirements.
  • You craft functional designs for data solutions.
  • You uphold process control standards within ING pertaining to Metadata and Data Management.
  • You collaborate effectively with data engineers to ensure smooth integration processes.
  • You execute functional testing and validation procedures to guarantee accuracy and data integrity.
  • You assist in defining requirements for Data Quality, Data Lineage, and Data Governance.
  • You actively engage in giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • You ensure adherence to ING's established policies and standards.
You might be the ideal candidate if:
  • You hold a university degree (Bachelor's/Master's).
  • You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT processes and/or technical software implementations.
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to collaborate within a diverse global team.
  • You have intermediate knowledge and experience in areas such as Data Management, Data Warehousing, Data modeling techniques, Data Architecture, Data Mapping, and Data Profiling utilizing Agile practices.
  • You have a strong proficiency and hands-on experience with SQL.
  • Familiarity with fundamental banking concepts is advantageous.
  • You exhibit strong analytical and abstract thinking skills.
  • You are driven by results and have a knack for problem-solving and prevention.
  • You communicate effectively across individuals with varying expertise and seniority levels.
  • You have a keen enthusiasm for learning and possess the ability to pose relevant questions to derive business requirements.
