About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced QS Engineer to join our dynamic team at CVJR Builders in Silang Cavite. As a full-time QS Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the estimating and cost control processes for our construction projects, ensuring the financial viability and successful delivery of our developments.

What you'll be doing

Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documents for construction projectsAnalyze project plans, drawings and specifications to identify and quantify required materials and labourNegotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricingMonitor and control project budgets, tracking expenditures and identifying potential cost savingsProvide regular cost reporting and forecasting to project managers and senior leadershipCollaborate with the construction team to resolve any cost-related issues that arise during projectsEnsure all project costs are accurately documented and in compliance with company policies and proceduresWhat we're looking forLicensed Civil EngineerMinimum 3 years' experience as a QS Engineer in the construction industryProven track record of preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates and project budgetsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunitiesExcellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholdersProficient in the use of construction estimating software and MS Office suiteBasic Knowledge on CAD as an estimating tool Knowledge of local construction regulations, standards and best practicesTeam Player and Result OrientedWhat we offer
