Your Role

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for:

  1. Planning, writing, implementing, and reviewing validation protocols for computer-based systems.
  2. Making sure computer-based systems are operating as intended and meet regulatory requirements.
  3. Executing the PSC mission, "to maintain the integrity and professionalism of our products and services while enabling steady growth and development".
  4. Writing, reviewing, and approving validation SOPs and documentation.
  5. Maintaining accurate validation documentation.
  6. Keeping up to date with advances in the field and the regulatory requirements.
  7. Involvement in review and updating of validation documentation.
  8. Reviewing and analyzing validation data – compiling reports when required.
  9. Assisting and recommending process upgrades and improvements in efficiency.
  10. Assisting in the implementation of validation improvements.
  11. Supporting Facility Engineering Team on integration activities.
  12. Involvement in both internal audits and external inspections as required.
  13. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent. 7-10 years of experience in computer systems validation experience and/or automation engineering.

Must have Mechanical experience with Auto Cad/Solidworks. Experience with Siemens, Rockwell, PLC.

Strategic agility and action-oriented with the ability to drive results. Demonstrated strategic thinking and implementation skills. Strong attention to details. Ability to work with a team or independently. Ability to follow protocols and procedures. Excellent written and oral presentation and communication skills. Highly organized in planning and time management, with the ability to multi-task. Knowledge of operating systems and MS Office desired.
