The gamigo group is looking at the earliest opportunity for a 3D Artist (male/female/diverse) in Cebu City to create low poly / high poly game models for our video games and join a team of game developers in our offices in Cebu City.

As 3D Artist you will work closely with the Art Director, the Concept Artists, Animators and Riggers to achieve game optimized models fitting the style and requirements of the respective game.

It will be important to collaborate and review the work together on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creation of optimized low-poly meshes based on provided concepts of the Concept Artists.
  • Creation of highly stylized game assets with clean mesh typology and normals.
  • UV Unwrapping and preparing the models for texturing, focusing on maximizing texture space.
  • Working with Animators to prepare the model for rigging and make adhoc adjustments where needed to fit the vision.
  • Advanced experience with 3dsmax or blender in the creation of game assets.
  • Create environmental game meshes and organic creatures based on concepts.
  • Rigging Models for Animation

Qualifications:

  • Experience with the creation of high and low poly 3d models for use in video games.
  • Extensive knowledge of 3dsmax or Blender. (Experience with Game Engines, a plus)
  • Passionate about stylized modeling and eager to learn new processes.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to resolve problems when they occur.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
