Job Description:

Position Overview:

As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and joining metal parts together according to specifications, ensuring structural integrity and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

Welding Operations:

Material Preparation:
Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and cutting, ensuring proper fit-up and alignment prior to welding.

Quality Control:

Inspect welded joints to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards, making adjustments as necessary to ensure structural integrity.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the maintenance of a clean and organized work area.

Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members, including supervisors, engineers, and fabricators, to coordinate workflow and achieve project goals.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including materials used, hours worked, and production reports.

Requirements:
