Business Analytics & Consumer Insights Manager

Job Description:

  • Leads data mining and provides analysis of Nielsen RTA and Home panel for strategic insights into growth opportunities.
  • Drives efficiency in fulfilling business reporting needs:
    • Integrates internal and external data to deliver timely and accurate monthly reports.
    • Prepares and presents strategic analyses, findings, and recommendations for the business and respective brands, contributing to Sales Business Reviews, Category Reviews, Country Plans, and Integrated Commercial Planning.
  • Spearheads brand, consumer, and shopper studies:
    • Identifies research needs and evaluates appropriate methodologies.
    • Supports substantiating product and communication claims.
    • Conducts pre- and post-advertisement communication studies.
    • Executes commercial tests for new product proposals.
    • Identifies market opportunities.
  • Drives NPD opportunity mapping and evaluates post-NPD performance:
    • Synthesizes market and brand opportunities to identify white spaces for NPD development.
    • Conducts post-NPD performance analysis using internal and external data in collaboration with brand managers.

Qualifications:

  • Significant and proven experience (3-5 years) in qualitative and quantitative research; preferably with a background in Brand Development/Research Agency (1-2 years).
  • Ability to design new processes to enhance the quality of business reporting and analytics.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and translating findings into clear brand recommendations.
  • Strong background in market research with the capability to conduct customized studies.
  • Skill in negotiating research costs without compromising study objectives.
  • Commercial understanding of brand and operational business issues.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing strategy, planning issues, and budgeting.
  • Proficient in project management and prioritization.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
  • Capacity to perform under high pressure and adapt to a dynamic environment, with a self-initiative mindset.
  • Ability to initiate and lead projects independently.
  • Capable of earning the respect of external agency partners while negotiating project costs and lead times.
  • Blend of tactical and strategic thinking.
  • Adaptable communication style and content to suit different stakeholders.
