Quality Assurance Analyst

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 3 years' experience in Manual Testing
  • Knowledge of software development processes, models, lifecycles and methodologies
  • Experience in test-planning, designing, defect tracking and test case/script creation and execution
  • Ability to maintain high quality standards in writing and executing test cases, bug reporting and verification
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standard QA methodologies
  • Ability to analyze and understand requirements, accurately estimate task durations and meet schedules
  • Knowledge of and experience of testing tools
  • Experience with testing business application software functionality
What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Automation scripting skillset and experience with software automation tools.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Develops an understanding of the industry's usage of Infor applications and incorporates this into the test requirements, design, cases and scripts.
  • Analyze requirements of software changes or feature enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QAs and developers to review, modify and sign off test plans to ensure 100% test coverage.
  • Write test cases, execute the tests and provide feedback on the testing effort on a regular basis
  • Perform different testing methodologies including, but not limited to, feature testing, regression testing, installation testing
  • Analyzes test output to ensure functionality regression and new feature of the products during a release cycle
  • Documents test scripts in a common repository and logs product failure issues into the problem tracking system.
  • Learns and uses automated testing tools and test frameworks for automated functional testing.
