Position: Mandarin Lawyer

Type of Job: Back Office Job

Location: Makati City

Schedule: Dayshift, Weekends Off

Salary: Php 120,000 - Php 150,000

Requirements:
  1. Candidate must be a qualified attorney in at least 1 jurisdiction.
  2. Required language(s): Mandarin
  3. At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  4. Preferably 1-4 years of commercial contract/drafting experience.
  5. Must be able to multitask, organize, plan, and prioritize work and activities, as well as monitor production, processes, and related materials.
  6. Must be detail-oriented, able to quickly and accurately process and analyze information, and be able to make appropriate decisions and solve problems.
  7. Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written with internal and external persons and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
  8. Must be able to work in a team environment and be comfortable with peer review.
  9. Must be able to effectively use computers and various software such as CLM tools and the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
Responsibilities:
  1. Drafting: Drafting and negotiation of various agreements and other duties as necessary.
  2. Communicating with in-house counsel and other legal department stakeholders
  3. Intake: Review contract requests in detail for completeness and accuracy. Communicate via email and/or telephone with legal and business stakeholders to gather required information.
  4. Signature: Submitting contracts for e-signature according to defined policies and procedures
  5. Reporting: Preparing ad hoc reports per request from business clients
  6. Storage: Updating metadata in contract repository per request from business clients
  7. Process Support:
    • Responding to process questions
    • Responding to questions about corporate contracting policy and requirements
    • Responding to questions about the status of the contracts in the process
