Inviting applications for the role of Functional/Automation Tester

Key Responsibilities

· Work with the team in analyzing requirements, creating, and documenting test plan and test cases in a structured and reusable format and coming up with an effective and efficient test approach to ensure full test coverage.

· Understanding the application architecture, and functionality.

· Perform functional testing, regression testing, end-to-end testing for the application assigned.

· Coordinate with different teams for integration testing.

· Perform initial investigation & analysis and troubleshooting on defects found in test environment and provide detailed information to the team.

· Accurate and timely reporting of test progress, risks, and issues.

· Contribute to the team's overall quality management processes and improvements.

· Develop and maintain test automation scripts for projects assigned.

· Design and create automated test scripts to address areas such as database impacts, regression testing, negative testing, and error or defect/bug retests.

Qualifications we seek in you

· A computer science degree, engineering degree, or equivalent.

· Experienced with functional testing, end-to-end testing, and regression testing.

· In-depth understanding of Knows SDLC process and exposed to Agile practice.

· Hands-on experience in developing automated scripts using any relevant tools.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Capable of working thru vague specifications and coordinating with relevant stakeholders in different locations to obtain clarity on expectations.

· Demonstrable track record of test ownership and accountability.

· Demonstrable track record of designing tests using various techniques.

· Ability to multitask in parallel release activities and switch between roles within a DevOps team.

· A DevOps mindset, with a strong drive for automation and innovation.
