Your Mission: As our Staff Buyer, based in Binan, Laguna and reporting to the Senior Department Manager, Purchasing, your role will be pivotal in developing and executing demand and forecast plans, conducting market sourcing and benchmarking, managing orders and inventory, and improving supplier management. You will also be involved people and system management, ensuring compliance, and participating in continuous improvement activities.

Make Your Mark: How You Will Drive Change:

• Demand Analysis and Planning
  • Develop and communicate demand and forecast plans for commodities/services to suppliers.
  • Conduct usage and allocation analysis.
  • Manage end-of-life (EOL) processes for products.
• Market Sourcing and Benchmarking:
  • Perform market and commodities analysis.
  • Conduct supplier due diligence and benchmarking.
  • Support company-wide cost reduction initiatives.
  • Manage bidding, negotiation, and RFQ processes.
• Order and Inventory Management:
  • Handle supplier and item enrollment processes.
  • Manage inventory through Min-Max, VMI, CI, and forecasting.
  • Oversee purchase orders (PO), including creation, approval, delivery monitoring, and aging PO cleanup.
  • Coordinate with Logistics for delivery arrangements.
  • Manage contracts, internal/external audits, and purchasing metrics reporting.
  • Ensure supply continuity and update standard costs.
  • Prepare vendor returns and settle aging invoices.
• Supplier Management and Improvement:
  • Conduct supplier audits, qualifications, and reassessments.
  • Manage supplier performance through scorecards and evaluations.
  • Facilitate business reviews and improvement programs.
  • Handle supplier communication and change management.
• People/System Management and Development:
  • Conduct training needs analysis and complete onboarding/offboarding programs.
  • Align with superiors on department key results (KRs) and monitor execution.
  • Participate in career and development planning, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Suggest system developments and participate in cross-functional team activities.
  • Update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned

Essential for your Success:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, Business, or Engineering.
• Experience in supply chain management including purchasing and knowledge related to semiconductor/solar industry is a plus.Adequate skills in Excel and Powerpoint
• Good communication and presentations skills
• Good teamwork and leadership skill.
• Good process thinking, problem solving and innovative thinking skill.
• Experience in crisis management and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) execution

It would be Nice if You Have:

• 5 years working experience in supply chain management
• Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPM)
• Certified internal or external auditors
• Proficiency in other language (Chinese, etc.)
• Experience in ERP system (Oracle, SAP or equivalent)
• Experience in Solar, Semiconductor and Electronics industry
