Head of Trust Accounting (Financial Services/Hybrid)

This is a full-time hybrid role with flexibility for some remote work. As the Head of Trust Accounting, you will be responsible for day-to-day trust accounting operations, including managing the trust accounts, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing efficient accounting processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, provide accounting guidance, and contribute to financial planning and analysis activities. The successful candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA certification
  • Proven experience in trust accounting or a similar role with Banking/Financial Services Industries
  • Experience in managing process enhancement initiatives and ensuring adherence to BSP regulations within stipulated deadlines.
  • Knowledge of trust and investment regulations and asset management industry trends
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices
  • Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Experience in managing and leading a team
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams Effective communication and interpersonal skills High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
