What You Will Do

The Workday Financials Integration Lead will provide application integration maintenance, configuration, and support for Nasdaq's Workday Financials application. You should be proficient on all technical aspects of Workday, including but not limited to tools related to Integrations and Reporting. This individual contributor position is part of an international development team passionate about Financial systems . Additionally, your will:

  • Receive, analyze, process, handle and address technical user inquiries and requests
  • Provide technical solutions and configure the application per business requirements, such that it needs minimal deviation from delivered processes
  • Build and maintain integrations with internal systems and third-party vendors.
  • Complete recurring and ad-hoc activities/processes required to maintain and administrate Financials systems
  • Build technical specification documents for new Integrations and Reports and document solutions for future reference.
  • Provide solutions for efficiency, especially for areas that see recurring issues and incidents
  • Perform end-to-end testing and build test cases
  • Participate and carry out various phases of Software Development Process
  • Follow established processes to ensure quality of work you're completing
  • Collaborate with multiple IT and business groups

What We Expect

  • A Degree in Business, Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient using Workday Integration tools (Studio and EIB), Report Writer, and Calculated Fields
  • Proficient with Web services - REST and SOAP API programming and implementation.
  • Solid grasp of the Workday Security model and configuration
  • Experience with business systems analysis that includes working closely with Finance Partners as well as IT for configuration/implementation of functionality.
  • Experience working within a dev-ops team
  • Excellent working proficiency in English

It would be great if you:

  • Have experience of working with more agile-based implementations projects or work methods
  • Have experience of working with Workday Billing and Accounts Receivable functions
  • Have experience of working with Workday delivered Core Connectors is a plus
