Job Title: Merchandising Strategist at XYZ Company

Responsibilities:
  • Formulate merchandising strategies to achieve sales/margin goals with optimum inventory
  • Maximize sales and profit by adjusting product mix, pricing, margins, etc. based on historical performance and market trends
  • Communicate and negotiate with suppliers for samples, orders, pricing, etc.
  • Coordinate with brand and store merchandisers for order processing
  • Monitor product sell-through to optimize sales and profit
  • Regularly assess product performance and make necessary adjustments
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure profitability
  • Provide feedback to Division Head on merchandise strategies and market opportunities
  • Stay updated on competitor products and market trends
  • Visit warehouse to address product issues

Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years experience in retail merchandising
  • Advanced knowledge in budgeting, financial analysis, and trend forecasting
  • Strong skills in Merchandise Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Analytical, creative, and proficient in Math
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Flexible to work extended hours
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally
