What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

  • At least 3 - 4 years' experience as a Paraplanner supporting an Australian Financial Planning Firm
  • Experienced in Financial Planning Modeling creation.
  • Handled preparation and implementation of Statements of Advice (SoA)
  • Experience in Investment and/or Insurance Implementation
  • Prior experience with Records of Advice (RoA)
  • Able to liaise between advisors, insurance companies, clients, and other parties involved.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proven performance in delivering high level work ethic.

Responsibilities:

  • Collecting, preparing, verifying, and maintaining all necessary client work papers and information
  • Updating client paper and electronic files to maintain compliance, concurrently managing and reviewing client data in the CRM for accuracy.
  • Providing quotes for either Risk and/or Financial Planning SoA alongside conducting product cost comparisons for Superannuation, Pension, and Investments, ensuring comprehensive financial analysis.
  • Generating new business income from risk insurance and superannuation advice this financial year, coupled with implementing advice for clients' financial plans.
  • Liaising effectively with fund managers, administrators, and life companies to oversee client affairs, coordinating diverse research efforts to support financial planning recommendations.
  • Research and analyze financial products, including investments, insurance, and retirement plans.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments and regulatory changes.
